A cookie policy is usually a long document about choices you are being asked to make. This one is still short: the site itself sets nothing, and the one script that eventually will is named plainly below.

Why there is no consent banner yet
Consent banners exist to ask permission for cookies that are not strictly necessary, which in practice means analytics and advertising. Nothing of that kind is set here today, so a banner now would be asking your permission for nothing at all, interrupting a page and collecting a click that carried no meaning.
That changes when ads begin serving. Readers in regions whose law requires consent, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, will then see a consent prompt from a consent management platform certified by Google, and personalized advertising cookies will be set only after consent is given through it. The prompt arrives together with the ads, not ahead of them.
What Cloudflare may set
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, and Cloudflare may place a strictly necessary cookie in your browser as part of that delivery. Cookies in this category do operational work: telling ordinary visitors apart from automated traffic, keeping a security check from repeating itself on every page, and helping requests find the right server. They are short-lived by design.

What "strictly necessary" means here
It is worth separating the categories, since they are often blurred. A strictly necessary cookie exists so a site can be delivered safely at all, and removing it tends to break something. An analytics cookie exists so the site owner can count and study visitors. An advertising cookie exists so a network can select ads and follow interest across sites. Today only the first category applies to letsgetbetterlife.com, and it applies through Cloudflare. Once ads serve, the third will apply as well, through Google's script rather than through anything this publication sets itself. The second, analytics, still has no place here.
Advertising cookies, once ads serve
Google's advertising script sets nothing today, because no ads are served while the site awaits Google's approval. Once ads appear, Google and its partners may set advertising cookies and similar identifiers through that script. Their work is the ordinary work of an ad system: delivering an ad, capping how often you see the same one, and measuring that it was shown. Personalization, meaning ads selected using your visits to this site and to others, is the further step that, where local law requires it, happens only after the consent described above.
Those cookies belong to Google and the vendors working with it, not to this publication. The editors do not read them and receive no reader-level data from them. The privacy policy describes the same arrangement from the data side.
Controlling cookies yourself
Every current browser lets you see stored cookies, delete them, block them from particular sites, or refuse third-party cookies altogether, and the controls generally live in the privacy or site-settings section of the browser's own preferences. Exact wording and placement differ enough between browsers and versions that step-by-step instructions here would be out of date quickly, so this page does not attempt them. A private or incognito window is a simpler route for a single visit, since it discards cookies when you close it.

One caution worth stating. Blocking every cookie, including the strictly necessary kind, can cause security checks to repeat or pages to fail to load, on this site and on most others. That is a trade-off you are entitled to make; it is only better made knowingly.
